Chapter 5Cam woke feeling strange in his old room. He could hear the rumblings of his father snoring in the living room as it echoed slightly off the hall wall. He sat up, grabbed for his cigarettes on the table next to his bed, and lit one. Dragging himself into the kitchen, he found the coffee pot on top of the fridge, then began hunting around for the coffee. “Jesus, old man, where the f**k do ya keep the coffee?” he said to himself. “In the freezer,” Jared answered. ’Sposed to keep it fresh. I think there’s some in there.
