Chapter 10 June 1997 — Ponoka County, AlbertaAni took one last look at her work as she got into her pick-up truck. The lilac bushes were in full bloom and their fragrance was making it all the way over to her by the road. The randomly placed boxwoods with their dark glossy hue and the golden junipers with their wispy yellow tipped foliage perfectly set off a robust Japanese maple by the entrance. For a burst of color in a garden under the porch were yellow, gold, and maroon tree peonies in behind a border of large dark hostas and creeping white phlox.
