"Wake up sleepyhead " I tapped her softly at the back. She slowly blinked her eyes, yawning, looking as cute as a newborn baby. I pinched her cheek lightly and placed a kiss on her neck, holding her tight.
"Get up princess. I've got something amazing planned for you today" I said, my hand still around her waist. I looked back at her and found she closed her eyes to go back to sleep. I decided I was going to do this myself, so I stood up and picked her from the bed, carrying her bridal style. Her eyes moved a little but after struggling for a few seconds, went back to sleep.
