Hannah's POV
"What do you want to tell me? "Ethan asked, drawing me out of my thoughts.
"I just wanted to let you know... I'd love to start working again if you don't mind " I finally said after few minutes of anticipation. He studied me for a while, slightly nodding.
"Why? "He asked, skeptically, not understanding why I'd want to go back to work all of a sudden. I wasn't like most women. I just couldn't find comfort in people alone, I also find comfort in making my own money. That's the thing, what made me different.
"Well because staying at home all day seems really boring for me. And I'm more of an independent woman. I love to work, to be independent " I said, trying to reason with him.
"But you don't have to be independent, just be dependent on me " He said, pushing a strand
