Ethan's POV
Mother was dumbstruck, staring at me, fixed to her spot. She didn't utter a word, just stared at me in shock. I was already impatient and annoyed, so I asked her again.
"I ask you again for the last time, is Dante my father or not? "I asked. It sounded more like a threat than a question, but I didn't care.
"Who told you? "She managed to ask after getting a hold of herself.
"That doesn't matter. What matters is the truth. That's all I want to hear" I demanded. She looked hesitant.
"Fine "She inhaled. "I'll tell you the truth "
My mind was supposed to be calm at this point, but no, this was where anxiety increased.
"Dante isn't your father " She dropped but that was just a tip of the ice berg.
"Then, who is my father? "I asked again.
"I can't tell you " She refused
