I am in the living room now with Hunter. I say to him, "Tomorrow is the flight. " I really wish you were coming with us." "Maddi, I am not going," Hunter says. "I know Hunter, doesn't mean I am not sad about it. It was supposed to be our first big family vacation. Hunter, you know I have never been on a plane before. I thought we could experience it together. It's also Alina's first time as well. Figured you would want to be included in that too. Guess not. " Did you even think about her before you made your decision? " Hunter looks at me and shrugs. He says, "There is always another time." I say, "Not her first time though. It's not the same. There is just something about being there for the first time for anything they do. It moves the heart strings. I told Hunter that I would be waking up with him in the morning. As we have to be at the airport 3 hours before our flight. We can say his goodbyes to us in the morning before he goes to work. Alina will also have a chance to say goodbye and give her hugs. She will also tell you how much she is going to miss you. When we got to the airport there was just so much going on. You also had to walk a long way to get from one side of the airport to the other. Same with picking up a snack at the airport. While you were waiting for your flight to board. Getting to the washrooms wasn't as bad. They had one bathroom every few feet. Which was good. Boarding went not too badly either, as we were somewhat near the front of the line. The flight for me wasn't bad. I know that I am not a fan of take-off. Feels like you're on a really fast rollercoaster. Alina and I held hands on takeoff. Once, we got really high in the sky. Alina and I looked out into the sky through our little window. Alina said "Mom! Look, the clouds look like cotton candy. They look so fluffy." "Yes, they do look really fluffy" I said back to Alina. We are so high up that we can't see anything because we are so high in the clouds. After a while, it got a little bit bumpy in the sky. We hit a little bit of turbulence. My younger older brother, behind me, says to Alina and I say "It's OK, its only just speed bumps in the sky." I chuckle at the remark. Alina just looks at him and me in confusion. The rest of the flight went smoothly. When we got to the airport in Jamaica, it was much of the same as the airport back home. Some things were not as advanced as back home but much the same. We filled out our customs paperwork online and a little bit on the paper they gave us on the plane. Sadly, we had to fill out a new customs paper as we missed an answer on one of the sheets. It didn't take too long to fill out, than we were on our way again. We all decided we would take 2 taxi vans to the hotel. That way we don't get lost and get to the hotel quicker. Once we got to the hotel. We got all checked in with keys to our room and keys to the safe. My mom was with Alina and I. Since Hunter didn't come with us, we had a room with 2 queen-sized beds. As I went to go get mine and Alina's luggage to start taking it to our room for the next 10 days. I look over my shoulder and the most gorgeous blue eyes are looking deep into mine. I feel it so deep in my gut. I shake my head, grabbed the luggage and continue down the hall to where our rooms would be. The room is nice and spacious. We open the curtains to the patio area as we are on the first floor. The view was amazing. You can see the ocean from just standing at the door. There is also a wonderful view of the pool and pool bar. You don't even need to get out of the pool to get a drink. Wow!! That is so awesome!!
