Chapter 5: The First Awakening

Purple lightning split the sky.

Ravok swung his sword.

A massive wave of violet energy tore through the battlefield, swallowing everything in its path.

"Move!" Kael shouted.

The five friends scattered just before the attack struck the ground.

BOOM!

The explosion carved a deep trench through the earth, leaving the surrounding area in ruins.

The heroes stared in shock.

"Is... this really the power of someone who isn't even a god?" Ryker whispered.

Ravok lowered his blade.

"You still don't understand."

"I am merely a servant of the Eclipse Covenant."

"If you struggle against me..."

"...you stand no chance against what is coming."

Before anyone could answer, Kael's emerald mark began to burn.

A familiar voice echoed in his mind.

"Do not fear..."

"Accept my power."

Green light burst from Kael's body.

The ground beneath him bloomed with glowing flowers and emerald vines.

His wounds healed instantly.

The injuries of his friends began to disappear as well.

Ryker looked at Kael in amazement.

"Your power... it's healing us!"

Kael slowly stood.

His eyes now glowed a brilliant emerald.

"I won't let anyone die."

Ravok narrowed his eyes.

"So..."

"The Heir of Life has begun to awaken."

Kael stretched out his hand.

Countless vines of divine energy erupted from the earth, wrapping around Ravok from every direction.

For the first time, Ravok was forced to defend himself.

The other four heirs realized this was their chance.

Ryker covered his fists in divine crimson flames.

Zane gathered destructive energy into a single sphere.

Elias slowed time around Ravok, making his movements heavier.

Darius charged forward with overwhelming strength.

Together, the five launched their first perfectly coordinated attack.

The battlefield exploded with emerald, crimson, sapphire, gold, and obsidian light.

When the dust settled...

Ravok stood on one knee.

A c***k had appeared in his silver mask.

He slowly touched it.

"Then"

He looked at the five heirs.

"You have exceeded my expectations."

He stepped backward as a dark portal opened behind him.

"Our next meeting..."

"...will decide the fate of this world."

Ravok disappeared into the shadows.

Silence returned.

The five friends stood there, exhausted but alive.

High above the clouds, unseen by anyone...

Five colossal figures made entirely of light watched them.

One spoke.

"The heirs have taken their first step."

Another replied.

"But they are far from ready."

Far across the universe, a tiny c***k appeared on the prison holding the Void Eclipse Gem.

For just a moment...

A single pulse of violet light escaped into the darkness.

The Void King's influence had begun to spread.
