I stand there in stunned silence, trying to keep the tears from falling from my eyes as poor Bennett O’Malley takes his final breath. This is too much. All of it. As I stand there, feeling completely helpless, I just can’t understand why someone would do this? What does this unknown asshole get from tormenting and torturing us like this?
“You just let him die,” the harsh voice came from Nick, who is standing in the corner, his fists opening and closing, his face full of utter despair. I don’t know him that well, but he seems like he’s the type that’s always in control, and I can see it starting to unravel.
