Chapter 5

Victoria's POV

As me and Mickey are watching pretty little liars Mickey's phone vibrates in his pocket he gets it out and he answers it.

"The f**k you want Eric"

"No f*****g do it yourself"

"Fine I'll be there in half an hour"

He ended the call, he sighs and he puts his phone back in his jeans pocket. I pause the episode that we are watching.

"Is everything alright Mick who was that on the phone"

"Just someone I know, nothing for you to worry about"

"Ok if you need to go you can"

"Are you sure"

I smile "Yes go I'll be fine"

"Ok after I finish I'll call you when I get home"

"So your not staying over anymore"

"I would but I'm not sure how long I will be helping Eric out"

"Ok I'll probably be studying and waiting for Mary to call me and I have to work tonight as well"

"Ok be safe and take your gun and knife with you"

"I will and you be safe as well"

"I will baby"

He leans over to me and kisses me a few times then he gets up and he kisses me one more time. He walks over to the door, he leaves and shuts the door. I get off the couch and I walk up the stairs and I go into my room again. I walk over to the desk I grab my science text book that have the notesthat Lip gave me. So I can keep studying for the algebra test that Lip and I have on Monday and I leave my room again. I walk back down the stairs again with my science text book, I go back into the lounge room and I sit on the couch again. I unpause the episode that I'm watching and I study again. As I'm studying and going through the notes, my phone vibrates in my jeans pocket and I get it out. It's Mary my dad's parole officer calling me. I pause the episode again and I answer the call.

"Hi Mary"

"Hi Victoria how are you"

"I'm good you"

"I'm good as well anyway the reason I called is I have news about your father getting released out of prison"

"Ok when is he getting out"

"He is getting released tomorrow"

"What tomorrow, what time tomorrow"

"Some time in the afternoon"

"Ok so where is he going to stay"

"Because he got early parole he has to stay at the house with you and Sara"

"Ok not like I have much of a choice and I'll let Sara know when I see her"

"Ok well I'll let you get on with the rest of your day"

"Bye"

"Bye"

I end the call and I put my phone on the coffee table. I stop studying and writing I put my science text book on the coffee table as well. I unpause the episode so I can finish watching it and watch something else. I go into the kitchen, I go to the fridge and I grab a can of soda out. I shut the fridge door and I go back into the lounge room. I sit back down on the couch I open the can I take a sip and I grab another handful of popcorn. As I'm eating and watching pretty little liars there is a knock at the door. I get up and I walk to the door It's Ian and Mandy at the door. I let them in and we walk to the kitchen. I walk and stand next to the bench and Ian and Mandy stand next to the table.

"What are you two doing here"

"How rude"

Mandy smacks him upside the head "Mickey texted us both he told us about your dad getting out of prison"

"Oh he did did he"

"Don't be mad at him he is just worried"

"I'm not mad at him I'm worried too. Mary my father's parole officer called me an hour before you guys got here"

Ian looks at me"Wait your father's parole officer is a woman"

"Yes she is anyway she said my father is getting out tomorrow sometime in the afternoon and that he has to stay here because he is getting early parole"

"Mandy told me about what your father did to you and your mom, sister and brother"

I look at Mandy "Please don't be mad I told him"

I smile at her "Mandy don't be stupid of course I'm not mad why would I be"

"I thought it was something you didn't want everyone to know"

"Mandy it's ok you and Ian are my best friends"

She has a relief look on her face"Ok I'm glad your not mad because it would of sucked if you did"

"I won't ever be mad at you and Ian for anything. I'm just really worried about my father being out of prison early and staying here because of his parole. He is a f*****g monster for what he did to me, my mother, Sara and Michael I will always hate him"

Ian looks at me again"is that why your mom and brother left because of what he did"

"Yes leaving me and Sara to deal with our father but I don't blame them I would do the same"

"Vic you can still stay over at my house if you want you don't have to stay here when your gets home"

"Are you sure M"

"Yes V I'm sure your like a sister to me and it will also be nice to have another girl around the house"

"Ok I'll think about it"

Ian gets his phone out "Vic do you have work tonight or tomorrow"

"I work tonight why"

"Coz Linda just texted me asking me to work tonight"

I smile" So that means we are working together tonight which means I won't be bored"

We walk to the door, Ian turns around and looks at me "I will see you tonight and I'll come pick you up at 4 so we aren't late and we can walk to work together and I'll be walking you home as well when we finish work"

"Thanks Ian I feel more safe knowing your with me"

He smiles "It'd better than having you raped and dead"

I hug them. They leave and I go into the lounge room again I grab my phone and I check the time and the time is 3:10 which means I have to go get ready and I better hurry before Ian comes again to get me at 4 which is in an hour. I put my phone back in jeans pocket and I run up the stairs. I go into my room and I grab a clean pair of panties and a bra, and I grab a clean t-shirt because I can't wear Mickey's top to work and I put them on the bed. I also get some stockings out from my underwear draw and my circular skirt and I put them on the bed as well. I go into the bathroom and I strip I chuck my clothes in the laundry basket. I take my phone out of my jeans pocket and I put it on the shelf which is next to the shower and I get in the shower. I have a quick shower so I don't waste time getting ready. I wash my hair and myself so I'm nice and clean. I turn the shower off and I get out. I grab a towel I put it around my body and I grab my phone. I go back into my room I go to my bed I put the panties on first then the bra they are matching. I put on the stockings and I put my black circular skirt on and a black singlet on as well. I go back into the bathroom I brush my hair then my teeth and I put deodorant on so I don't smell while I'm at work. I go back into my room. I sit on the bed and I grab my black boots I put them on and I tie the laces up. I walk over to the desk, I pick up my bag and I put my wallet, my house key, my lighter and my packet of smokes in my bag but I don't put my gun and knife in my bag because I won't need them since Ian is going to walk with me to work and walk me home as well. I grab my phone, my Jacket and my bag and I take them down stairs with me. I put my jacket and bag on the couch, I sit on the couch and I grab the soda that I haven't finished yet. I finish watching the episode that I was watching and I go through Netflix to watch something else. I pick twilight to watch. As I'm watching twilight someone knocks on the door. I pause the movie and I put the can down on the coffee table. I walk over to the front door and I open the door. It's Ian at the door I let him in.

"Ready to go"

"Yep just need to grab my bag and we can go"

I go back into the lounge room I grab my jacket and I put it on. I turn the TV off. I put my phone in my jacket pocket. I grab my bag and I put the strap of my bag on my left side. I pick up the can, we walk to the door and we walk out. I lock the door and I make sure that it's locked so that no one can break in and steal anything. We walk down the stairs and we start to walk to work. As we are walking I get my lighter and packet of smokes out my bag. I take a big gulp of the soda can and I give the rest to Ian he gulps the rest and chucks it on the ground. I put a cigarette in my mouth and I give one to Ian. I put the packet of smokes back in my bag. I light my cigarette up then I light Ian's up and I put my lighter back in my bag as well. We keep walking to work.
