Chapter 3

Victoria's POV

We get to his house just before it starts to rain. He puts the heater on while I go sit on the couch. Then Mickey comes and sits on the couch next to me.

" That was a nice thing you did for Debbie Gallagher"

" She needed the boost confidence and also that I hate bullies as well "

" How come"

" Well because I was bullied when I was her age"

" So that's how you, Gallagher and Mandy become friends"

"Yes"

" Is that why you gave her that advice as well"

" Yes and that she is like my little sister well all the Gallagher's and Mandy are like family to me better than the one I have"

we smile at each other. He leans over and kisses me on the lips.

" Mick I'm going to go have a lay down if you want to join me"

" Yeah I will just need to take a piss then I'll join you for nap or something else"

He smiles and winks at me. I playfully hit his arm I go into his room while he goes to the toilet. I put my bag down on the floor next to the bedside table that is on my side of the bed. I take my phone out of my bag and I put it on the bedside table in case someone needs to call me or message me. I take my jacket and shoes off I put them next to my bag I sit on the bed and I wait for Mickey to get in the room. I take my jeans off I just wear my panties, bra and I take the shirt that I wore today off and I put Mickeys shirt back. I get into bed I pull the covers up to stay warm and I lay on my side. I close my eyes for a few minutes I hear Mickey come in the room. I hear him close the door, I hear him take his jacket, shoes and jeans off. Then he climbs in the bed and gets in the covers with me. He pulls me to him I put my head on his chest and he wraps his arm around me which feels really nice. He starts to play with my hair gently petting.

" Vic are you awake"

" Yeah I am"

I look up and I give Mickey a sad look. He places his hand on my cheek and he softly rubs his thumb on my cheek.

" Hey what's wrong"

" I need to tell you something"

" Are you pregnant or something"

I softly laugh " no I'm not pregnant"

" Ok then what is it that you want to tell me"

" I've never told anyone this not even Mandy and Ian"

" What haven't you told my sister and carrot top"

I sigh at the nickname he called Ian " Really Mick calling Ian carrot top"

" So what I'm not going to call him that in public or to his face"

" Well good because he would probably punch you "

" Well uh my dad used to abuse me, Sara, Michael and my mom"

I slowly sit up I take Mickey's t-shirt off I show him the bruises that my dad left me a few months ago before he went to prison. He sees the bruises on my body he gently puts his hand on them so that he doesn't hurt me. Then he slowly bends down and he starts to kiss them softly and lightly being very careful. turn around and I look up at him " Mickey"

" Yeah Victoria"

" Promise me you won't leave me"

He looks at me he holds my face in his hands and kisses my lips softly.

We lay back down and I fall asleep for a while I wake up I see Mickey looking at me. He plays with my hair for a while he smiles at me and I smile back at him. He leans over and kisses me softly on the lips again. I kiss back then he kisses me on the forehead. I turn on my side again he wraps his arms around my waist. He puts his head on my shoulder and we fall asleep. I wake up from my alarm which is on my phone that's going off. I turn the alarm off and I snuggle back into Mickey I'm surprised that he hasn't even woken up by the alarm. I don't go back to sleep like I normally would after I have turn the alarm off. Instead I just wait for Mickey to wake up as well. He wakes up a little later.

" Hey baby"

" Hi"

" Did you have a good sleep"

" Yeah did you"

" Yes I did because you were next to me"

I giggle at how corny he is being right now. After a while of us lying in bed he gets on me and starts to tickle me on my sides where he knows I'm very ticklish there.

He doesn't stop he keeps going I laugh my head off and feel like I'm going to pee myself. Then my phone rings he stops tickling me I take it off the bedside table. I sit up and I answer the call Mickey stops tickling to let me talk. I stop laughing so I can talk.

" Hello"

" Hello is this Victoria Johnson I'm speaking to"

" Yes this is she who am I speaking to"

" I'm Mary Wells I'm your father's parole officer"

" That's fine I'm calling to tell you that your father is being realised from prison"

I stop smiling and my face turns serious " Wait he is being realised, I thought that he was in there for at least 15 years because he assaulted someone and robbed a service station again"

" Well yes but he is being realised for good behaviour"

" Good behaviour he has only been in prison for 7 months"

" I know look, I'll look into it"

" Well do you know when is he getting realised"

" Either tomorrow or sometime this week I'm not sure, I'll call you and let you know when he does"

" Jesus ok thank you for letting me know"

" Your welcome Victoria I'll let you go on with your day"

I end the call and I put my phone back on the bedside table. I put my head down and I feel Mickey put his hand softly on my back. He starts to rub my back up and down gently.

I lift my head up and I sigh " It was my father's parole officer"

" Oh ok what did they want"

" Well Mary my father's parole just told me that my father is being realised either tomorrow or sometime this week"

" Jesus Christ seriously why are they realising him"

" Apparently for good behaviour"

" Yeah f*****g right 'good behaviour' that d**k shouldn't be realised he should f*****g rot in prison where he belongs"

" Anyway are you ok baby"

" To be honest with you Mickey no I'm not ok I'm far from it"

I look at him " I'm glad Mickey"

He gently pulls me in for hug. He rubs my back and we hug for a while then we pull away. I suddenly start to cry.

He holds my face in his hands and wipes my tears away " Hey shhh baby I'm here don't cry"

Mickey passes me a tissue and I wipe my nose "I'm sorry for crying "

" I'm just really scared Mick what happens if he abuses me again. I can't go back home when he gets realised from prison I just can't. I just can't go through abuse again. He's a monster Mickey a f*****g monster he's only been in prison for 7 months.

" When that happens Vic you can live with me and Mandy"

" Are you sure Mick"

" Yes I'm sure Victoria you're my girlfriend I would do anything for you"

I hug him then I pull away " He's a monster Mick a f*****g monster"

" I mean he has only been in prison for 7 months when he is supposed to be in there for 15 years. And now he is getting realised for 'good behaviour it's bullshit. Monsters like him shouldn't ever be realised in the public but of course they get realised if they f*****g behave in prison. Honestly its f*****g stupid what's the point of putting someone like my father in prison if they get realised for behaving in prison its f*****g bullshit"

" I agree with you there it's f*****g bullshit. My old man hits me and my siblings sometimes when he gets drunk"

I hug and kiss him. We lay down on the bed again cuddling I put my head on his chest and he wraps his arm around me. We lay in a nice and comfortable silence. After a while of us laying and cuddling on the bed we get off and I go make lunch for the two of us. I make us ham and cheese sandwiches. As we are sitting at the table eating lunch Mandy comes through the door. She has a surprise look on her face seeing me sitting at the table.

" Oh hey V what are you doing here and why are you just wearing a t-shirt and panties"

I get embarrassed " I uh"

" She stayed over here last night while you were busy with somethings"

She looks at me " I stayed over last night because I didn't want to be alone coz Sara was staying at James house and Mickey offered to let me stay over"

" Oh ok you should of told me V I would of dropped what I was doing and come home to hang out with you"

" Mandy I didn't touch her or do anything to her if your suggesting anything"

She looks at Mickey again " Really you didn't try anthing"

I gulp I become nervous and worried because I'm scared she will find out about me and Mickey and stop being friends with me. Me and Mickey both look at each other with worried and scared faces.

" Well ok anyway V I'm going to my room come with me so we can make up for me not being here last night to hang out like we were supposed to"

" Sure, M I'll just finish eating my lunch first then I'll come"

She walks into her room and I look at Mickey.

" Mick I'm worried she knows about us"

" Hey its ok I'm sure she will be ok with us"

He smiles at me " Good you should finish your lunch and go to Mandy's room before she thinks we are making out or doing it"

I laugh " Mickey gross"

I smile at Mickey and I finish my lunch. I put my plate in the sink I walk back over to the table and I kiss Mickey on the lips he lightly smacks me on the bum and smirks at me. I laugh and smile I walk into Mandy's room and I sit on the bed. She comes back into the room and sits on the bed as well.

She looks at me " V can I ask you something"

" Sure M"

" Did you f**k my brother when you stayed over here last night"

I sigh " Yes I did I hope you're not mad at me"

" I'm not V please just be careful"

" I am being careful M you know that"

" No I'm not mad just promise me that we won't stop being best friends if you and Mickey break up"

" I promise you M I won't stop being best friends with you if that happens"

We hug then pull away " Ok anyway so what movie do you want to watch"

" I don't really care what you pick anything is fine with me"

" Ok if your boyfriend comes and joins us make sure he keeps his hands to himself"

I smile and laugh a little " Ok I'll make sure that he keeps his hands to himself"

" Good also please wear a blanket or put some pants on while we are watching a movie in case my brothers come home because you know what there like with a girl around the house"

" I know M I'm not stupid"

" Good because who knows what they would do"

We walk into the lounge room and I try not to think about what her brothers could do to me. Mickey is still at the table he is drinking a beer. We look at each other for a moment. We go over to the couch and I sit down. Mandy goes to a pick movie for us to watch but I stop her before she does. She sits down on the couch next to me.

" Mandy"

" Yeah Vic"

" Before you came home Mickey said that I can live with you guys"

" Because my dad is getting out of prison soon"

Mickey turns and looks at Mickey " Mickey stop talking like that do you want to go to Juvie again"

He sighs and doesn't say anything else. She turns back around.

" So is it ok if I live with you and Mickey"

" Of course you can live with us when your dad gets out. You're my best friend V I wouldn't let you live with your dad after what you just told me"

" I know and I would the same for you and Ian. I know that I should told you and Ian but I was scared and afraid of what my dad would do if anyone found out"

" I know but it's ok I understand why you didn't tell me and Ian I would of done the same thing"

" Well Mickey told me that your dad sometimes hits you, Mick and your brothers when he drinks"

She hugs me then she goes and picks a movie she picks twilight for us to watch. She puts it in the DVD player and turns the TV on. She goes to the kitchen and she makes some popcorn for us to eat while we watch the movie she comes back and presses play. I grab the blanket which is on the floor next to the couch and I put it over my legs to keep warm. During the movie Mickey comes into the lounge room with his beer. He comes and sits down on the couch next to me he puts his beer down on the floor next to the couch. I put the blanket over his legs as well. During the movie Mickey puts his hand on my leg then he moves his hand to my thigh he starts to rub it gently and softly. Then he puts his hand on my p***y and he starts to rub me on my panties. I get off him and I sit down on the bed next to Mickey while he just lays down. He puts his hand on my leg and starts to rub it gently. After a while of just sitting in silence I speak up.

" Mickey I heard that you were in juvie but I don't know what for"

" I went to juvie because this asshole owed me money, tried to rape Mandy, I stole things from shops, I stole a car and I robbed a few service stations"

" Jesus Mickey how long were you in there for"

" Well I went in there when I was 15 and I came out a few months ago"

" So you were in juvie for 3 years"

" Yes"

" Well I got into trouble with the cops once"

" What did you do to get caught by the pigs"

" I promise anyway I'm going to get going"

" Also tell Mandy that I said bye and that I'll see her tomorrow at school"

I kiss him on the lips again, I put my pants back on again and I don't take off the t-shirt that Mickey let me borrow for bed. I do zip up, I put my boots on and I put all my stuff back in my bag. I kiss Mickey again.

" You look really good in my shirt Vic"

" I know Mick that's why I'm wearing it"

He smiles at me we kiss again then I pick my jacket up and I put it on. I grab my bag I put the strap om my left shoulder I smile and wave at him he does the same. I walk out of his room I open the front door and I leave to go home.
