Chapter 15

A/N Hello everyone, I have been terrible about updating the last 2 weeks. I have had a lot of personal challenges and excess demands at home and work. Hopefully this chapter will make up for it. I mind linked some kitchen staff to work on lunch and that I would be there soon to help. We will prepare sandwich platters, cut up fruit, veggie trays, and whatever else our pups talked us in to. Those pups and Bo are my life but all these years I felt a bit lost without Becca. Now that Becca is back my heart felt whole and my little niece Bell caused my heart to overflow with love.

When we were at school we weren’t matched at first. I as her witch and she as my Luna and protector. We were confidants And soon became inseparable. It only took a couple weeks for instructors to realize that we were bound by the Goddess. We were reassigned to a different building for our dorm and we’re then roommates. All of our classes were changed and we did everything as a team. We were never apart until the day she left. I had never felt so lost in my life. It felt as though a piece of me wasn’t there any longer. I went back to school and Becca’s things were cleared out. I didn’t hear from her the first 2 months. But our bond was strong enough I knew she was ok. She must have sensed my pain the night she called. I was drowning in my sorrow and felt as though I was trapped. We met up that weekend. She rented a room about an hour from campus in a hostel. She was smart. She was enrolled in night school and a couple college courses. She’d work during the day at the local nursery to pay the bills. After another month when I returned back to school they had tried to assign me a new Luna to form a bond with so I left.

I lived with Becca about 6 months before she sensed him following us. At first he’d come into the nursery, then he started hanging around campus. He was a Alpha from Becca’s family’s rival pack. He began getting a bit too cozy. At first he just seemed friendly. He would have r***d her if I wouldn’t have come home early that day Rich or as we called him d**k, had finally talked Becca into a date. She was hesitant but just wanted to be kind. That’s just how she is. He started coming to the hostel then he got a room there as well. Becca had tried multiple times to break it off with him but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. The day we left I walked in and he had her pinned to the bed. He had torn through her shirt and was leaning over her. He didn’t even notice me when I walked in I entered his thoughts and gave him a migraine of a lifetime while he fell to his knees wrenching in pain Becca jumped up and literally tore his di*k from his body. We had our things packed and were gone the within 30 minutes. On a train to somewhere far from there. I didn’t realize Becca had a new plan for me.

We had finished high school by that time and Becca had almost completed her associates. As I was scouring the classifieds for new jobs and an apartment she was preparing for our new identities. We would change our ID’s out every 3-6 months and were always paid under the table so we wouldn’t be tracked. I found the perfect spot for us. A cabin just off the coast in a fishing village. They had a small hospital nearby and I could focus on honing my craft. Before the words left my lips Becca already knew and agreed it would be ideal. I called and made an appointment to check out the house and got Becca an interview. When we arrived at the cabin we knew it was ours. It needed some work but it was far from anything or anyone. We paid rent for the next year and were directed by Jim (the owner) to the nearest hardware store.

I was pulled from the memory as I walked in to the kitchen and was greeted by our wonderful kitchen staff. They bowed in respect for me and I hugged each person. I made it my duty as their Luna to show love and gratitude for them. I tried to treat them as Becca or even the Goddess her self would. I joined in the work and we finished quickly. Jules calls out, “Luna, we should celebrate Becca being home if we may”. Jules had worked in the kitchen most of her life and had watched Bo and his siblings grow up. I could tell It took me a moment to long to respond as Jules began to look to the floor, “Jules, that’s a lovely idea. Maybe this weekend. I will just confirm with alpha” she nods respectfully and I smile in response.

Becca was one of the staffs favorite people according to Bo. She is one of the. kindest wolves and Luna’s I had ever know and I wanted to make her proud. Jules was right Becca needed to know she was loved and missed by her pack.

I linked Bo and could feel his excitement. I contacted her brothers as well. The boys would start arriving with their families in a couple days and I knew something great would happen having them all together. I gave Jules a list to start preparing items for the surprise party as I called everyone for lunch. Everyone devoured the food prepared. Bo quietly snuck out to see to his Alpha duties. I put all the young pups to bed for a nap. I asked beta to keep an ear out for them as I took the older kids for a run through the forest.

I watched my older children with Bell as she stopped to inspect every flower. We told her about their use and where she could find them on the territory. We continued our run and stopped only one more time to observe a black bear and her cub. I watched in awe as Bell walked up to a cub without fear and nodded to the mother. Bell pet that cub then turned and continued with us. I didn’t know Bell was special or so much like her mother. Witches are nature healers and friends to all of nature. Bell was just that. We ran by the lake house to find a Will finishing some odds and ends. Becca had started dinner so we left Bell with Her mother. I had to talk to Bo. We ran into the pack house and I sent the kids to shower and change. I immediately went to Bo’s office and barged in without even knocking. “What is it Sarah?” He asks. “It’s Bell, she has another gift.”
