Bell called asking if we could shop for her new room. I eagerly accepted. I showered then Will walked me to the lake house so I could make a shopping list. Sarah and Buster were there with the kids Bo had Alpha duties. Dad showed up later with his tool belt. The old house needed a lot of work. The house had 3 bedrooms and a den. Bo is having an extra electrician and plumber come and check everything to make sure it’s in good working order.

Dad took us shopping. I chose light blues and grays for the house. A dark blue exterior with white trim. I chose a beautiful whitewash for the floors. Bell wanted her room purple and her papa was happy to oblige. We then went to the furniture store so I could choose a new furniture. Bell is using my childhood bedroom furniture. I would buy some new accessories for her room and a new bedroom set for mine. We even chose new appliances. I had plenty saved as I had been working since I was 15. We lived comfortably but I had always planned our spending time high allowed us to not get into debt. We walked down the long aisles sitting on coaches and chairs antil I found a beautiful teal colored love sac sectional that was more comfortable than anything I had ever had before. It came with ottomans as well. I was drawn to an antique bunch I could add shelves to for the entryway. I found an appliance bundle that was discounted. “This must be my lucky day” I told my dad. He just smiled in my direction. We grabbed new linens and a wolf from our pack said he could drop it by the following day. Bell chose a eclectic type theme for her room. She then informed me she would finish shopping with her aunt Sarah. I just smiled and agreed.

My phone buzzed in my pocket. It was a text f I’m Will, “dinner tonight @my house just the 3 of us?” I responded quickly, “sounds great, can’t wait”

I paid for all our items and exited the store walking to the car. Bell holding my hand and dad pushing the cart. We loaded our treasure into the SUV and began driving home. When we arrived to what would be our new home I noticed the house was prepped and ready for paint. Dad started on Bell’s room while I started in the kitchen. We went with a a shade of off white. I then went to the living room. The textured tile would be placed on the accent wall around the fireplace with glacier blue. Dad was already working on the bathroom. Bell said she was hungry and then I noticed she he time. “Dad I gotta go meet Will”. “ I will keep at it Becca, have a good dinner.” I picked Bell up and we ran to Will’s. I could see the lights flickering in the windows. Bell looked in awe at all the homes nestled in the trees. “Momma it’s just how I imagined the forest”. Will came to the porch a little smile on his face, “ hey ladies come on up, I prepared a fancy dinner, burgers and fries”. “YUMMMMY!” Bell responded and wiggled from my arms and ran up Will’s stairs as quickly as she could. Will met us half way and scooped her up, placed her on his shoulders and leaned down to kiss my forehead, he smiled “love ya” he said as he carried Bell inside making airplane noises. I smiled in response. The house was cleaned and everything in its place since I was here earlier today.

We sat down at the table and thanked the Goddess for all we had. Bell told Will about our shopping adventures and her new room. Will then smiled at her. “I have a surprise for you til you and mommy have the new house ready.” I look at Will concerned for what may come next. “Come with me he tells Bell and he leads her up a spiral staircase to a small bedroom decorated with fairies and twinkling light. It was various shades of pinks and purple. “This room has been waiting for you a very long time”. Bell gasped and soaked in the moment in quiet. I was speechless at not only the beauty but the sentiment behind this beautiful room. Tears welled up in my eyes and I felt his arm over my shoulders and warm lips on my cheek. “I want to try it out tonight, I brought your things from the beach cottage”. I was speechless. Bell looked to me with a huge smile, “momma can we stay with Will?” I only nod in agreement. I then turn back towards the living room and begin picking up dishes. I take them to the kitchen then look for Will’s main bathroom. I prepare a bath and hop in to relax my muscles. I soon hear Bell and Will playing tag down the stairs I stand and dry off then go grab a shirt from Will’s dresser. I quickly prepare a bath for Bell then call her in, “wow momma this bath is huge” I give her a bath and notice she is getting more tired. I lift her from the bath and wrap her in a towel. I dress her in pajamas and Will Carrie’s her to bed. We sit beside her to tuck her in. She then falls asleep in the next few minutes.

I take Will’s hand and lead him down to the couch in the living room. He places an afghan around my shoulders and sits beside me pulling me into his lap. “Im sorry, I don’t want to push you away I’m just afraid of losing you so I’m protecting my heart and Bell’s. I don’t want you to choose us just out of habit especially if you..”. Will turns to me and breathes in contemplating each word, “ I am a grown man I know what I want and I am quite capable of letting others know what that is. I want you and I want Bell with all that I am and if you can not see that I will just have to prove it to you every day. I love you two more than anything.” He looks down to our hands then back into my eyes, “I always have, don’t let your own fears dictate how you think I will react”.
