Chapter 14

***Will***

I knew Becca had some very real fears but it was my job to show her they no longer needed to be hers alone. I held her into my chest. We sat in silence until sleep got the best of her. As I carried her to my bed, she woke up as I moved her I laid her on down. She leaned forward and kissed me on the lips then worked her way to my neck stopping to nibble on my ear and whisper she loved me. She ran her hands across my chest kissing a trail to my waistline. She pulled down my sweats to release my already hard c*ck. She took the tip in her mouth and began caressing it with her tongue I pushed a little further into her mouth and pulled her head gently back making her look at me. I pulled her up to my eye level and ran my hands down her body. I whispered to her “Not tonight”. I kissed her gently and and pulled her into my chest. I laid her onto the bed and climbed in behind her. I pulled her into me. I know she didn’t fall asleep right away but she was relaxed. She needed to know that I was here for her no matter what.

I woke up the next morning to a note “working on my future home, bring Bell when she wakes up and Shmelly too.” She signed it with a little heart. A smile spread across my face as I went to the living room. Shmelly ran to me waiting for attention I pat her head then offer her some breakfast. I go to check on Bell and she begins to stir. I returned to the kitchen and get 2 bowls, 2 spoons, milk and lucky charms. I placed them on the table and hurry to get dressed. I threw on some shorts, a t-shirt, and my Nike runners. I returned to Bells room and picked out an outfit for her and laid it out at the end of her bed. As I watched her begin to wake a warmth came over me. I had prepared this room for her when she wasn’t even a year old.

I had hoped Becca would come home with me after that visit but she was still in too much ch pain after Bell’s dad passed away. He wasn’t her mate but she did care for him deeply. We were all friends in college. When she left me at the cottage he was there to comfort her. I always thought we just wanted a piece of ass but they were together over a year before she got pregnant. Becca didn’t realize she was being played and I didn’t have the heart to tell her. Not that we were talking back then. I told Bo what happened and within less than 24 hours all her brothers showed up for a visit. They had a guys night out and I wasn’t invited for the first time since I’d known them. I didn’t pry, I knew where they’d gone and what they were doing. But we never spoke of that night or where they went. Bells dad disappeared that same night though and although Becca was sad she’d be better off without him.

I thought I would get as much done as I could for my daughter. She had done so much for herself and Bell I figured it was time someone did something for her. Bo came to help and so did Buster and a few of their friends. We worked late into the night and walked back to the pack house proud of all we had accomplished. Paint on the walls, floors down, we still need to sand and paint the cupboards and redo the countertops but otherwise we were in good shape. I had missed my only daughter and will do anything to keep her and my granddaughter here near me. To have another granddaughter is certainly a gift from the goddess. Hell I even like their dog! I head to the pack house to get some rest before I head back to Becca’s to help her get furniture in place this afternoon.

I returned to find Becca had finished she’d the cupboards and she was assembling her furniture. Bells room was already put together. I watched my girl as she work diligently not realizing I was there. I snuck and behind her and leaned in close, I let out a loud alpha growl. She spun around ad her leg kicked out her arms went up and I found myself flat on my back. “Damn baby girl, take it easy on your pop” I laughed out loud. She stood up and apologized leaning down to help me up. “Sorry daddy, I didn’t realize it was you.” I shake my head, “No apology needed. You did what you should if a stranger sneaks up on you. But next time use you wolf sense to know who it is. Then you will know how to attack”. Becca looks up and smiles “thanks pop” as she leans in for a side hug. “Anytime squirt.” She pushes me away laughing. “Hey pop, thanks for all the work you’ve done”, “no problem squirt, where do you want me to start today?”

“I’m going to ask Will to build some butcher block countertops for the island so we don’t have to use cutting boards. Buster is going to build a fish cleaning station out the back door, so you are on furniture duty. You can start on the guest room bed and dresser. Appliances will be brought around noon. I’m going to run to the store with Sarah to get lunch for all the guys.” I turn to her and salut, “yes ma’am”. She smiles and gets back to work assembling her wall shelves for the living room. I turn up the radio and Queen is playing as we work.

**Becca**

I smelled honey and lilac mixed with pine before I saw them. I finish my current shelf and turn to the door as Will, Bell, and Shmelly come running in to greet me. I lean down to hug my sweet girls. Shmelly runs towards the room my pop is in and Bell races behind her. “What about me” Will asks. “What?” I ask with my most mischievous smile. “I put you to bed last night, I feed our girls a nutritious breakfast, I even wore an extra tight shirt for you to gawk at my amazing physique as I sweat my balls off today and I don’t even get a good morning kiss” he trails off and I was laughing so hard tears were streaming down my face. I put my arms around his neck, and move to my tiptoes to kiss him. He kisses me back and lifts me up. Before I knew it he had thrown me over his shoulder and carried me to the small dock. I was cursing him the whole way kicking and screaming. We soon had an audience forming. Bo’s face was stern until he saw what was happening. Bo then ran to the dock and grabbed my legs. Will says “say I’m the greatest wolf of all time and we won’t throw you in”. I shake my head as they pretend to toss me but didn’t let go as I screamed, “I’m the greatest wolf of all time” as I laugh even harder. Will shook his head, “not what I meant, say Will is the greatest wolf of all time” Bo chimes in “Bo is the best alpha ever!” I am laughing so hard I can barely catch my breath, “say it unless you want to go for a swim”. I still my tongue out at them, “fine, IT!” They looked at each other and threw me in. I return to the surface and swim to the end of the dock, Will was already taking his shirt and shoes off. “ help me up Will” he leans over and grabs my hand as I reach for his hand he dives in over me and then comes Bo, pop, and all the kids including Buster. Sarah yells, “you guys have fun I will make lunch.” I swim to to dock and pull myself out of the water. I run inside and grab Sarah’s hand. We then run together and jump back in. We played like we were all kids until we saw the rest of the furniture and appliances. “Shoot!” I swim back to shore to direct traffic and telling the guys where to put the new items.

Will walked in with a fresh set of clothes for me and Bell. He kisses me gently and says, “to be continued” kisses me once more and slaps my rear as I turn to go change.
