Chapter 5: Shocking event

Kira got into the other room, her mind began to play the humming sounds she sings for her parents.

She also felt a bit intimidated because of the way the guy spoke and the aura around him. It was a good thing she covered half her face, at least she's unrecognizable.

She got ready for her spa day and they came in, gave her a good massage, a manicure, pedicure and a calming sound.

She spent two hours or more just for her to feel relaxed and calm. She was still thinking about the guy she saw. ' He's hot ' She thought as she smiled.

After the session, she dressed up and left for the elevator. Ethan stood beside the elevator which shocked Kira as she immediately saw him.

"Lady Kira, how was your spa day?" Della asked.

"It was good, I feel relaxed but I can't help feeling body pains" Kira said .

"You will be alright soon, let's go, after you" Ethan said and Kira began walking.

As she got to the car, she met the guy's eye, the guy she encountered today. He had hazel eyes, it was as if he looked into her soul.

She immediately entered the car and Ethan closed the door. " I have something to tell you " Kira mind linked Della.

Kira told Della about her encounter back at the spa parlor. Della couldn't help but smile and ask absurd questions. Kira just rolled her eyes.

Time for the event finally came, Kira was gradually getting herself back. She had her hair done and told the hairstylist not to cut her hair because Kira feels that her hair is her dignity and beauty as a lady, so the longer the better.

Her face was flawless and so was her skin but she had the scar in between her thigh. Her dress was specially selected by Megara.

Megara made sure Kira looked twice as good and thrice as beautiful. Kira had finally dressed up. She looked at the mirror, she knew that she was still thin, her body wasn't like this but at least she's getting better and she knew that she's still recovering.

"Lady Kira, the car is ready and Ms Megara wants you down now" Ethan said from outside before opening the door. He looked at Kira and how her beauty was highlighted he knew he was seriously staring but he couldn't help it.

"I'm through dressing, let's go" She said as she took her purse and left. Ethan couldn't move and just stared.

"Ethan" Della shoved him then he looked at her and nodded, Della chuckled at his reaction. He helped Kira walk downstairs to the door and then to the car.

Getting in the car, "Good evening lady Megara, you look stunning" Kira complimented.

"Not as stunning and beautiful as you, this shade of red is definitely your color, you look like a queen in this dress" Megara said as she adored Kira's looks. The journey started.

"Once we get down, you mustn't get friendly with everyone because the world of powerful and wealthy people is a world for the wise. It is not a must to smile, make people know their place, you are now the daughter of Lady Megara kael"

Kira was surprised at Megara's last statement. She looked at Megara with a teary face and a smile.

"You don't have to say anything sweetie, I am giving you this opportunity because I see that you are worth it and here( Brings out a phone case) this is for you"

Kira knew that being a daughter means staying here with Megara forever and even inheriting the billionaire's company but she couldn't, she has her parents to avenge and a throne to claim.

"N...no, I can't ( Looked at the window) I'm sorry but I can't, not now, being your daughter is a huge responsibility, what if I want to look for my origin and find my parents? What then? I am sorry but I ....I just can't, I know I have hurt you deeply but I am sorry, I really am" A tear dropped.

Megara was hurt but she saw reason behind Kira's say, even though, she would watch over Kira till the day she decides to find her place.

"I understand you fully but I promise to take care of you till the day you decide to leave but still, take this, I know you don't have any means to communicate to anyone so take it and be happy, everything you need is in the set" Megara said as she smiled.

Kira looked at the phone case and at Megara. She opened the phone case and it looked very expensive, it already had a black pouch.

"Thank you, thank you so much, I don't know how to repay you but I will try my best" Kira said.

Minutes later, they arrived at the center, tens of bodyguards came out from the other four cars that followed them.

Megara stepped out first and the camera's were flashing. Everyone wondered who Megara's plus one would be. Megara is known as a disciplined, independent and strict business woman who has made billions of dollars and is still making.

Kira was feeling nervous mostly because of the camera but she came out with Ethan's help. Everyone was in shock because they have never heard or seen this lady before.

"Is she your daughter, lady Megara?" "Who is the beautiful young damsel you brought today?" "Is she a model?"

Megara looked at them and at Kira, she answered none of the questions and walked in. Kira walked so confidently, swaying her hips as she walked.

The people were giving Kira more attention than any other celebrity or billionaire that came in.

Everyone noticed as Megara and Kira walked in. Eyes were on them. The event was about to start and everyone had settled down but on seeing both of them. The noise seemed to increase.

Ethan led them to their seat, "Welcome to the billionaire's world, Kira" Megara whispered.

The event finally started as it was an award giving event. Megara's company won the most influential self-made company of the year. She also won the best female CEO of the year.

It was time for the biggest award of the day. The best and most influential CEO of the year. Kira was so curious as to who would get it.

" This award is the biggest, best and most wanted, so without wasting anyone's time, the winner of the best and most influential CEO of the year and our three time winner, Aiden Griffin" The host said and the crowd was filled with thunderous clapping and noise.

The person that stepped on stage sent shivers down her body. Kira was shocked to see who it was. Those hazel eyes that never left her mind.

"What?" Kira became shocked and continued clapping, his eyes met hers and his eyes were saying something but she couldn't read it or understand.
