As he strolled the sullied slums Zeflan couldn’t help but take notice of the low age demographic of the homeless refugees. A surprising amount of children had managed to escape from Galton territories without their parents and were now orphans of the fort streets. He saw the disappointment in their eyes when they asked him for money and he truthfully replied that he had none. He was sure that most of them believed he was lying to them.
