10 The unkempt conditions of the dungeon were in a perpetual state of decay since the day of their construction. Mold and moss grew in damp corners that have never before seen a ray of sunlight and much of the undersized cell hadn’t been touched in decades. Nevertheless, a nest of insects called it home and could easily navigate the tiny cracks in between ancient stones which housed it. Still, the idea of a vampire’s dungeon being pristine seemed laughable. A man stood with his back to the cold, filthy wall with chains and shackles binding nearly every mobile limb.
