Chapter Four ZEKE Instead of letting people come over to the hospital, we actually signed me out as soon as we could and decided to do the whole ‘meeting the baby’ thing at home instead. It would be much more comfortable for everyone that way. And since Wes has so much experience with babies and Stephen trusted that I wouldn’t be doing anything too intense, he let us leave. The only promise I had to make was that I’d come back tomorrow to have Asher checked again and myself too. But I don’t see that to be much of an issue. I just… I don’t want to stay at the hospital for a whole day, especially not if I don’t really have to. I just want to be with my family, my whole family, not just my mates and my baby. My baby.
