Chapter Two
WES
When I get to the cafe for my shift, Evan and Mia immediately greet me, but I can’t find Zeke.
Tim, the barista I’m supposed to take over from, comes up to me. “They’re in the back.” His voice is low and he looks serious.
“What’s going on?” Who are the ‘they’ is he talking about?
“An Alpha showed up for Zeke. But he left now. Nathan is in the back with Zeke and Felix.”
An Alpha came here for Zeke? Oh, no.
I pick up Evan and Mia, taking them with me to the quiet rooms in the back. There is only one closed door.
“Zeke?” I push open the door and step inside.
Nathan is standing in the middle of the room, his arms around Zeke, and Felix is standing close by.
I put Evan and Mia down again, going over to my men, my heart calming down a little again. They’re here and look
