Chapter Three.
Cigarettes & Novels.

This loading area was too stuffy.
Too warm. Too many people.
Usually, I loved waiting for the train. People watching was my hobby. But today, I couldn't stand them. Not while I was trying to focus on this novel I had started.
I heaved a sigh and did my best to dive back into my book, distracting myself with thoughts of the sexy lady detective Bianca and the murderer, Jason. I disliked his way of going about things though. His technique was too fancy. Simple and clean works for me.
"Excuse me," A clear, demanding voice pierced through my thoughts. I lifted my gaze up to the speaker to see a beautiful young lady. Her sharp green eyes were cold and ruthless, cunning even. Her delicate hands resting on her slender hips as she clicked her tongue, lifting an eyebrow. f**k, she was gorgeous.
"Ahem".
In my head, I smirked.
"Yes?" I replied casually.
"Have a cigarette to spare?" She questioned, not taking her gaze off me. I nodded and reached into my pocket, passing her a cigarette. I sat back and scooted over a bit, offering her a seat beside me. She ignored the gesture and lit the smoke with a lighter between her fingers. Taking a long drag, she let out a sigh and closed her eyes for a long moment.
"I noticed you're reading Rogue Blood. Sounds like the title to a werewolf movie, doesn't it? I read the book as well. The main characters are meh. And so is the character development." She stated bluntly, exhaling the smoke slowly.
I chuckled softly and smiled a bit, analyzing her movements. Her eyes scanned the waiting area, a look of obvious disdain over her features. Disgust, honestly. Interesting.
"What's with the look?" I questioned, shifting to face her.
"Hm? Oh. I just don't really like people. At all." She replied absent - mindedly, letting the smoke lazily escape her lips.
"Me included?"
"You? Well you gave me a cigarette, but cigarettes are bad for the environment and create cancer and such. So yes. You included. You're just like them." She said slowly, her cold tone easing the words from her harsh mouth.
Such a smart ass! I was surprised the cigarette didn't just go out completely, considering how frigid the words she spoke were.
"I'm sure I can change your mind." I said.
She laughed and shook her head, flicking the cig into a nearby trash can, obviously not bothering to make sure it was out. She just wants to watch the world burn, apparently. Haha.
I smirked and rolled my eyes. I liked a challenge. This cold little red head would see for sure before I took her life. I'd play with her a bit first. She was adorable, her cold hatred for the people in this world.
