Ella's POV My eyes fluttered open, and I squinted at the bright ray of the sun penetrating into the room through the window. My brain turned blank as I tried to understand where I was or how I got here. The room looked strange, and the smell of cigar and alcohol lingered in the air, making my stomach grumble as I twitched my nose. As I tried to get up from the bed, I realized it was only my head that could move. My hands and legs are chained apart to the edges of the bed. My heart sank, panic coursing through me as I yanked harder, the clanging of the chain deafening my ears and my wrist burning in pain from every tug. “Where am I?
