“Cole!” Raphael's voice thundered in anger and disbelief, but before he could do anything, Cole lunged at me like a lion, his strong arms grabbing me by the neck and his gun pressed against my head. Air couldn't leave my lungs, my tongue poking as his grip grew tighter while I fought to ease myself. “Another step closer and I will kill her. I promise you.
