“We have moved her mother to a better hospital just as you ordered.” The guard said. “You ordered that?” I gasped, my eyes wide open in shock and excitement. “Thank you!” My voice echoed through the four corners of the walls as I hopped on him with a tight hug, my face buried in his arms. “Have you forgotten the rules I gave you about your PA work? Get off me!” He growled, but I wasn't listening. There was nowhere safer and more soothing than his arms, and I wished I could stay swaddled forever. “You are my lifesaver! I love you!” I squeaked. “I owe you my life.” “Then get down before I send your mother back to her former hospital and release Jake.” I quickly jumped down, wiping the tears of joy that had brimmed my eyes, pouring down my cheeks freely. “How can I thank you enough?”
