I went silent for a moment. Why did Theo have so much to hide?
Without thinking, I grabbed my phone and started typing.
Where are you now? I texted.
“Man, you need to calm down. Hear him out first,” Ethan said, following close behind as I walked briskly out of his house and toward my car.
I blocked him out completely. I needed to hear from Theo himself what he was conspiring behind my back.
