The bus came to a stop, jolting us forward in our seats. I looked out the window, my eyes widening as the campsite came into view. The other school’s students were already busy setting up their tents, laughter and chatter filling the crisp air and I couldn't help but smile as I was taken away by the beauty of it all. The camp was nestled in a clearing surrounded by towering trees, their leaves a vibrant green that glowed under the setting sun. “We’re finally here,” I muttered, stretching as I stood. “Thank the Moon Goddess,” Elvis replied, grabbing his bag. “I thought my legs were gonna fall off.” As we came out of the bus, the cool breeze kissed my skin, and I inhaled deeply.
