The dim lighting of the warehouse flickered ominously as five masked figures stepped closer. Their heavy boots echoed off the metal walls, each step sending a jolt of dread through me. My throat tightened as I gripped the sides of the chair, my wrists raw from struggling against the ropes. I tried to free myself as quietly as I could but it was proving to be difficult to do that.
