The bell rang, marking the end of class, but my mind wasn’t on textbooks or assignments. Instead, my heart was racing with excitement over my new plan. Joining the cheerleading squad would give me a front-row seat to Ryan’s world, a chance to finally prove to Jenny that I wasn’t just some insignificant girl. I know it wasn't all just dancing and looking cute while doing so; cheerleading involved a lot of work and dedication. But I still wasn't deterred. I needed to tell Elvis.
