Wolves- On the outside werewolves look human but inside have another soul living inside. The Goddess gifts each shifter a wolf when they turn 18, a wolf sees, hears, smells, and feels everything that the human half does. The wolf spirit can have a different opinion then the human counterpart and often converses with the human counterpart. The wolf spirit will also try to surface and force a shift if the human half is angry or in danger. The wolf will also have unique name that was bestowed on to them by the Goddess and how they should be referred to by their human halves.

The Moon Goddess- that created all shifter people. Has a hand in all of her ‘children’s’ lives, and matches wolves together to form mates.

The High Council of Alpha’s- This council is comprised of Alphas that have been chosen by the Goddess to sit on the council based on personality and past history as an Alpha. They are granted immortality by the Goddess to pass laws and enforce the laws that are broken. Since they are blessed and hand chosen by the Goddess herself they speak with her voice and are the final word, to defy them is to defy the Goddess.

Alpha- Protector of the pack, a ruler per say. The only true way to become Alpha is to either be a son or daughter of an Alpha or to challenge an Alpha and take control of his or her pack. Alphas can use their authority to control wolves in the pack to certain extent. Alphas are only answerable to the High Council of Alphas, they enforce laws that the High Council passes down, further than that Alphas make their own laws on how to govern their individual pack. Only Alphas can bring in new members of the pack with ingesting a drop of their blood. (Alphas can be male or female, when female they are referred to as Alpha Female). All pack members, even ranked members, are answerable to the Alpha except the Luna in certain situations.

Luna- While the Alphas job is to be the protector of the pack the Lunas main job is to be the voice of reason when tempers of the Alpha run too high. The Luna is a balm to the Alpha and helps them take care of the pack matters. Most of the duties are taking care of pack issues, especially while the Alpha is also working on pack business. The Alpha and Lunas duties are a partnership and they are equals. They also rank the same in the packs hierarchy, the Luna may also banish, punish and command members of the pack while maintaining the laws passed down buy the High Council. (Lunas are normally female but if male they are referred to as Lune)

Beta- Beta is the second in command to the Alpha and Luna. Betas are chosen by the Alpha when he or she takes over the pack. Betas are also ranked members. They handle the duties of training of the pack members and help take some of the Alpha and Lunas load. They can also take up duties assigned to them by the Alpha or the Luna. Betas are also known to travel with the Alpha while the Luna takes charge of the pack. (can be male or female) The Beta’s mate also shares these responsibilities and duties.

Gamma- Like the Beta they are also ranked members, they are in charge of border protection and packs interworking’s. Gammas are also chosen by the Alpha, in some packs they are chosen by the Gamma with confirmation from the Alpha. They manage all of the pack member’s files and jobs. They also take any jobs assigned to them by the Alpha, Luna, or Beta. (Can be male or female). The Gammas mate also shares in these duties and responsibilities.

Omegas- These are unranked members of the pack but still higher in the pack then ordinary pack members. They mostly live in the pack house and take care of the Alpha, Luna, Beta, and Gamma families. They are assigned jobs by the Gamma like laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. They are all treated fairly and with good working conditions as declared by the High Council. Omegas are paid for their work from the Alpha.

Mates- each person has a mate, a perfect half that was created for them by the Moon Goddess Nyx. Mates can find each other using smell or their wolf can sense them. Mates can only be found after the age of 18. The mate bond is unlike any other, is akin to infatuation. This bond is declared sacred by the Moon Goddess and the High Council, the breaking of this sacred law is punishable by death. To be fully Mated, two wolves will have s*x and ‘mark’ each other on the side of the neck. Once fully Mated the two wolves will be able to feel each other’s emotions, and in rare cases read the other’s mind.

Marking- a bite from semi-shifted wolfs canines into the side of the neck.

Wolf pregnancies- usually last about five months, pregnancy is caught earlier in wolves then humans.

Rouges- these wolfs have left their packs of origin by free will and are normally non-violent. Most chose to leave their packs of origin to travel and find a mate. Mostly nomads but some form small packs.

Exiles- wolves who are exiled or banished from their pack have committed a heinous crime and the Alpha with the backing of the High Council banishes them from the pack to never return again. The Alpha then marks the previous pack members file as exile so every pack can see it. Exiles are to be killed on spot if seen trying to enter other packs. They have a brand of a wolfs bane on the upper right arm.

Mindlinking- Telepathic communication between two or multiple wolves from the same pack that are over the age of 18.
