(Unknown Alpha POV)
“What do you think Raguel? Is she the one?” I asked him crouching in the bushes about thirty feet past the border she was running by
“Yes that is our mate, go to her she is searching for us. I don’t like that she is searching for us, she is unhappy” he let out a quiet whine and she stopped running, came to dead stop and looked around sniffing the air. I could Raguel trying to take control so he could go to her and mate her, wolves are animalistic and don’t like to take their time like I would like to.
“No we can’t scare her and we also can’t enter the pack yet we have to come up with a plan first to present to Alpha Cajetan and Luna Randve” I tried unsuccessfully to calm him down.
“Please let her at least see us so she knows what we look like” he whined internally as to not to alert her to our position again. She was still looking around the area and sniffing everything trying to catch a whiff of us without leaving the border it looked like.
“No that will only strengthen her need to mate with us, for right now she is still looking for us and the bond hasn’t had a chance to solidify” I could feel my control slipping on Raguel he was getting more and more frustrated which made him harder to control.
The wolf was pretty white wolf with a contrasting dark underbelly it was like someone picked her up and dipped all four of her legs into ink up to her belly, it was unique and absolutely beautiful. I could only imagine how it would feel to run my fingers through her fur, I could tell by this distance that it had a healthy sheen to it. Me being attracted this wolf only made it harder to control Raguel.
He won the battle and hopped out of the bushes and revealed his location by snorting, her head immediately whipped to us and she let out a deep whine as she paced by the border. Her paw lifted up like she was going cross but I could tell her human counterpart was fighting with her not to cross it. It was already too late to go back, I could feel the mate bond forming, getting stronger every second I looked into her ice blue eyes.
We padded over to the border careful not to cross it, I could see her eyes taking in our form just like I was taking in hers. Raguel was fighting me to just step over the border and claim her but that was one thing I could not do; I could not mark her until I got permission from her human half, wolves acted rashly and I did not want her human half to resent me for taking away her choice. Her smell was getting stronger as I got close to her, it smelled liked home, so comforting like walking into my childhood home. I didn’t know I was tense until I took a lungful of her smell and relaxed.
This close I could see more of her body, she was well muscled but at the same time her body was lithe, sleeker with hidden strength which she could use to her advantage. Her black underbelly had some hairs of white in it, I didn’t notice it from far away but seeing it now it looked like stars in the night’s sky.
She was tall for a she-wolf about as tall as my beta, she was even stronger then I first predicted. This she-wolf would make an amazing Luna for me, just looking at her wolf half I was already convinced her human half would be just as beautiful.
She started pacing and whining more frequently and I could see the shift in her posture and I knew her human half took over, I saw the fear in her eyes.
Fear? I was not going to hurt her; I was her mate. Was she afraid I would reject her? The thought didn’t even cross my mind to reject her, she was perfect, I would kill anyone that hurt her that made her cry. That was the last thought I had of her before she took off and ran in the opposite direction.
My wolf howled, growled and whined in succession at not being able to chase her. I just hopped that Alpha Cajetan and Luna Randve would grant me sanctuary so I could finally meet her properly. I had to drag a very sad Raguel back to camp.
