Chapter Twenty-Eight
(Annette’s POV) The past few weeks have gone somewhat well. Randve did well on her promise I did pay her back in babysitting as well as some girl time, she said it was to get away from Cajetan because he was ‘driving her up a wall’. They had been at odds for weeks about the whole Trial situation, Cajetan was still not letting Randve in on any of the proceedings. It was not like him to cut her out, she talked about that at length at the various appointments that we went to. Soren and I had been spending each night together, it was the best sleep that I had ever had and I hoped it would never end. Speaking of Soren he was unlike any wolf I had ever met, most of the wolves have to be ‘manly men’ they are a toxic bunch of guys but Soren is different. Supportive and kind
