What's a Gamma

We pulled up to a huge fence that had to be easily 20 feet high. I just sank down in my chair. There were these military looking men that looked a lot like Kinnon, you know a Greek God body type. They also had these huge wolf looking dogs walking with them, but these dogs were so well trained that they weren’t on leashes. I slowly leaned over and locked the door. Kinnon got back in the jeep and drove through the open gate. “Where are we?” I whispered as I looked out the window. This was the most beautiful property I had ever seen. The grass was green, the moon was high and the stars were shining. I had never seen such a clear sky. I was lost in the aww of the beauty in the sky to see that we pulled up to a building. Gamma it’s nice to see you again, I need to get to the pack hospital immediately. The very handsome, very built tanned man simply nodded his head and climbed in a Jeep similar to Kinnons. “Kinnon, are you going to tell me where we are going? Or who the hell an alpha or gamma is? I was confused, tired, I was hearing things, and my body felt just plain weird. I was tingling in some areas and having excruciating muscle spasms and pain. I just sat there, and Kinnon came around the Jeep. “I’ll get her you are not mated” “pfffff neither are you Kinnon last time I checked, anything changed?” he wiggled his eyebrows at Kinnon and he rolled his eyes. “Come on let's get you inside quickly okay?” I nodded my head, undone my seat belt and slid out of the Jeep. “Oh my Gosh the Pain, Kinnon I can’t walk, It hurts so bad.” I started screaming and crying. Mr.Gigantor simply walked over and picked me up bridal style, I instantly stopped crying and just looked at him. How much could he bench press?? I weighed a solid 180, I didn’t think I was overweight but for my five foot six inch frame I felt I looked a little thick, but he picked me up like I weighed no more than a newborn baby. I just looked at him, he smiled and we walked in the building. “Jacob, put her down, Boy what have I said about toting girls around like that? Now Put her down” I just watched this small doctor speaking to Jacob not Gamma. I must have misheard Kinnon when they spoke at the other stop. Jacob came to a complete stop and looked at her like she was crazy, “She says it hurts to walk, I'm just being a gentleman Emma Gahhhh why are you so mean?” he gawked and rolled his eyes. “Fine Fine Fine, just place her in exam room 1, I’ll be there shortly after talking to Kinnon.” she just glared at him. We walked behind a curtain and he placed me down on a gurney with a thud. “Sorry, dismounts aren’t my specialty” he said with a boyish grin. I was rubbing my butt the thud was pretty hard. “I noticed, Thank you for carrying me in. I really appreciate it. I’m Selina McGregor and you are?” I asked, holding my hand out to shake. He rubbed the back of his neck and then extended his hand and engulfed mine. “I’m Jacob Gray, Gamma here.” He stated matter factly.. Hmmmmmm “What's a Gamma?
