POV
I was home alone, I sent Mira to stay with Julia. I didn’t trust my family or my so called wife to look after her. They would use her against me, I had no idea what these people were capable of.
My plan was in motion, I sold the house Carryn is staying in last week and the electric company would be switching off the power today. I decided to hire the staff from the house to work at the hotel. They are loyal to me, and I wouldn’t be poaching them since I used my own money to pay their salaries. They would be packing up all their things and moving into a house I own by the country; they’ll be training soon, and I’ll move over next month. I’m giving them time to relax. They deserve a raise for dealing with Carryn for four years.
My phone rings.
