Two weeks later…

POV
“I would like to thank everyone who has come to my daughter and my future son in laws engagement party. I haven’t known Demi for very long but the past three weeks I’ve spent with him, I’ve realised what an amazing man he is and how perfect he is for my daughter.” Colton Casey’s father says with tears in his eyes.
I pull Boris into a corner.
{They are speaking in Russian}
“Did you find her?” I ask him
He nods. “Ivan will bring the pills in an hour.” He says walking away.
I pull him back and give my husband a kiss.
Everything will work out fine.
I look at Casey and Demi they are as stiff as a plank. They’re both wearing all back as if they’re going to a funeral. I roll my eyes.
