CAIDEN It's everywhere, the noise. I walked through the halls aimlessly. I tried to play billiard and then I tried to practice more on my sparring but nothing could hold my attention long enough before my mind wandered to Amelia's safety and then I'd be bathed in that sticky substance called fear. I'm furious as I stand in the grand hall, watching the men doing some tricks. I feel like knocking someone's teeth out, or multiple people's teeth. I clench and unclench my fist at my sides as I take in my surroundings. There is music, very loud and melodramatic, but not strong enough to block out the giggles and laughter from the girls seated near me. I can't stand the thought of it all, holding court and smiling at people, being their charming king. How long would I have to do it? I
