DOMINICK'S POV The air in the office was charged with tension as my heavy footsteps echoed across the polished floor, my fists were clenched, and I kept grinding my teeth together unintentionally. Every time I look in his direction, it ignites a simmering anger within me. My primal instincts keep telling me to get rid of my competition, but I keep reminding myself that I don't want her to hate me, all I want is her attention, her trust and her love, and if I do things the wrong way, I might as well just sign myself for eternal resentment.
