ANNABELLE'S POV
We stayed in the car for a few minutes and during that time, Dominick tried to reassure me that meeting new people wouldn't be as bad as I thought it would be. I knew it wouldn't be that bad, but I just needed a moment to gather myself before I was put in the spotlight when meeting whoever I will be meeting today. I'm afraid Dominick is taking my nervousness too seriously because he is now holding my hands and guiding me through deep breaths. I comply with him even though I know what I am feeling is not as bad. I just need to step outside and to realize that the situation isn't as bad as it seems. Maybe he's worried because I haven't said anything this whole time and my heart is beating a little bit faster than it should be.
