"Are you completely out of your mind?!" I yelled, shoving him again, though he barely budged an inch. "Why the hell did you just tell a Viper captain that I'm your girl?!"
Jax didn't even blink. He just crossed his broad arms over his chest, looking down at me with that ridiculous, unbothered smirk. "First of all, Your Majesty, you told six members of my club that we were dating five minutes ago. I just backed up your story."
"That was to stop them from thinking I'm some easy lay!" I snapped, pacing back and forth across the concrete floor.
"This is completely different! Victor is a dangerous scumbag! Now you just put a massive f*****g target on my back!"
