When Serafina woke up once more, she found herself in a house. A proper one. She was lying on a couch, while Dragomir sat on a comfy chair. His head was on one of his hands, elbow resting on the arm of the chair. He was either deep in thought or was fast asleep.
“What the hell? Dragomir, where are we?”
“Huh?” he stirred.
“What is this? Where are we?”
Only then did Dragomir start looking around. He looked a little confused at first, but the truth dawned on him. They were no longer in the cube, or the cube must have transformed itself.
A service trolley seemed to be waiting for them in the corner of the room, near the door. There were windows, but they were all closed. It looked like it could be daytime outside, considering the bright light illuminated through the translucent glass.
