"Good morning, Mrs. Miller," I greet with a wide smile on my face as I walk into the dining room. "Hey Lucas," I say to my 'husband' sitting by the table, eating and scrolling through his phone. I pull out a chair to sit.
Lucas raises a brow in my direction. "What has gotten you so......excited?" He asks.
"Thank you for asking. Today is our honey....... vacation," I quickly correct. "We are going on our vacation today, don't you remember?" I pause. "Luc, I swear if you tell me you've forgotten, I'll kill you....."
"Chill....." He laughs. "I've obviously not forgotten. I planned the whole thing, remember?" He asks. "Of course I remember. And is that why you are so excited?"
"Yes! Why aren't you? We are going to Costa Rica, baby!" I yell, earning an amused look from Mrs. Miller.
