GINA I continue staring at the closed door, hurt and disappointed at how Lucas just acted. I let out another sigh as I pull the covers off me, climb out of bed, put on my slippers and walk out of the room. As I walked down the passage and towards the stairs, I run into one of the maids. "Good morning, Miss Gina," she greets and I give her a small smile. "How are you?" I ask and she answers positively. "Hey, did you see Lucas anywhere around?" I ask and she nods her head. "He went to the garden with your father," she answers and I thank her, heading for the stairs. I jog down the stairs to the living room, then walk to the back door. I walk out of the house and directly towards the garden. From afar, I can see my father and my husband seated on two different chairs across each other.
