GINA The next morning, I stuff my already packed belongings into the car and climb into the front seat. Lucas rushes after me, getting into the driver’s seat. I fold my arms across my chest and turn away from him, pressing my nose to the window and essentially, ignoring him. The drive to where the jet would pick me up is awkward, tense and silence.
