JACK  It’s just a week for Christmas and Idris hasn’t told me anything about how we're gonna spend it. Whenever I bring up the topic, she always changes the topic or makes some other conversation.  “Here, open this.” Idris handed me the envelope. It’s not addressed to me, it’s addressed to Idris from LA. “It’s for you, not me,” I say.  “Just open it.” She insisted.  I nod, “Okay” I open the envelope, there is a key dropped on the floor and a letter in my hand. I took the keys, which looked like a key to the house, I looked at Idris, “read the letter.” She says looking at the letter in my hand.  I opened the letter, it’s our grandfather's handwriting.
