I woke up when my phone alarm rang, I switched it off, I woke up Jack, “Jack, wake up.”
“Wake me up after you showered.” He turned to the other side.
“I can’t believe I’m saying goodbye to my two best friends at the same time.” Nate sighs.
“Nate, we are just hours away. It’s not goodbye. It’s just…” I trail off.
“I know, I will miss you both,” he says. “Let me drive you first,” Nate says.
Jack takes the key, “Not yet.” He says. We both laughed, It is his first car and it’s his baby. He loves his car as much as he loves me.
“I can’t believe you give that car to me.” Nate mirrors my thoughts.
Jack takes the elevator, “I still have second thoughts on that.” He smirks.
I take his hands, “it’s just hours away to start a better and new life.” I say. Jack kisses my hands.
