Chapter 2:

Tanya left to do some work leaving Astria alone. She trusted Astria that much and even let her tour around the house.

Of course she should, Astria did a risky move just to save her mother!

"Miss, what do you want to have? "a maid asked her.

Astria shook her head. "Just lead me to my room. "

The maid patiently guided her until they reached their room. It was placed in the left side on the third floor.

Astria opened the door and a clean room welcomed her. Just a big white master bedroom, and a few necessary things on the corner. It was a wide and quiet room,just like what she want.

"Miss, do you want a change of your room? "

Astria held her chin up. "No, this will do. "

The maid smiled. She was pleased when she saw that her Madam's visitor was not a picky person. "You can use everything here at your room. Then, I'll bring some snacks over here Miss. "

Astria nodded and just let the maid do her thing.

She roamed her eyes around and went to a big walk-in closet. There are many exquisite clothes. But Astria, was not familiar on their clothes and found it a bit uncomfortable.

She laid down to her bed and looked at the ceiling above. She decided to enter someone's mind.

"Mom..... I miss you so much.... "

"I'm afraid... help me.. "

"Mom... "

Her eyes narrowed slightly. She felt an extreme pain and sorrow. Missing someone, being scared, depressed,...... Astria felt all of this. When she enters or read someone's mind, she would also felt their feelings.

In the past, she was trauma, to feel someone's feeling. She can't fully control it back then.

It's like their feelings are deeply engraved on her heart. She can't forget, she can't erase, she just need to understand and accept it.

And this feelings and thoughts she read and felt, belong to a one person that was a ten meters away from her.

When they were just a one street away from Tanya's house, she detected something faintly. And it was slowly cleared the moment she arrived at their house.

There was another Enchant in this place besides her. That's why she felt so lucky, just the first day and she immediately found one Enchant. She confirmed that this Enchant was Tanya's cousin.

She sat back when she remembered that Tanya's cousin's mother died, her father also died. So it means, that her mother or father was an Enchant and she inherited all of it.

Her fingers lightly tapped at the bedsheet as she continued to stay at someone's mind. It looks like this Enchant was afraid of her abilities.

"This thing scared me..... "

"I don't want this... "

Astria felt pity to her. Grew to the Mortal World but born in Enchantria. This is a little bit hard.

On the other hand, a lady named Avianna was lying down at her bed. Her eyes were closed, her face was beautifully peaceful but her mind was in chaos.

A lot of memories from her mother always appeared on her mind. Her Father died when she's still a baby so she did not have any memories to him.

Her mother died because of an accident. A car accident.

Avianna was only close to her mother, she unfriended everyone who wants to get close to her, even if it is her relatives. They thought that it was caused by her trauma, that her mother died at her early age and still cannot move on.

They could just let her and be sure of her safety. They felt pity towards her.

Mrs. Miller adopted her the moment her mother died. Even if Avianna always avoided the Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Miller was still successfully coax her to move to their house and let them take care of her.

Her hands slightly trembled silently and tried everything to forget a memory.

It was before her mother died, she discovered something. She was playing happily to one of her friends when she accidentally pushed her friend. Her friend fell into the ground and a scratch was seen at her knee. As a child, she cried loudly.

The other children was scared seeing a scratch at her knee that makes her cry more.

Avianna strangely did not felt anything. There was something that urged her to get closer to her friend.

She did it and subconsciously, she put her hands to her friend's knee. A faint light glow in her hand and due to shock she immediately removed her hands. The others who saw it was stunned and after a seconds a loud cries sounded at the whole playground.

The scratch at her friend's knee magically disappeared!

She looked at her hands with her widened eyes as the glow dissipated slowly.

She can't believe what she just saw and was scared of it so she ran faster to her house. She went to the bathroom and cleaned her hands frighteningly.

She was afraid and wants to erase that glow who had just disappeared. She didn't notice that she had cried silently.

She carelessly drop a small mirror. It was broken.

She casually pick it but her hands kept trembling nonstop that cause the broken mirror to wounded her hand.

When a blood comes out she fell to the ground, a sudden strange energy flowed to her arms down to her hands.

Her other hand was glowing. She slowly put it to her small wound and as expected like what happened earlier, her small wound, slowly disappeared. Leaving a small amount of blood.

Like a bomb, a loud cry sounded in the whole bathroom.

Reembering this, Avianna panted heavily and a cold sweat formed on her forehead. She slowly sat down.

At that time, she thought that she was a monster. Not a human.

She was scared so much that she don't want to get hurt so she can't remember it again.

But that is also the time her mother died from an accident.

She was alone, was suffering of her mother's death, and was scared of herself.

Started that day, she kept distance to everyone. She did not open her mouth and just always lowered her head.

Her classmates, bullied her because they found her crazy. They thought she was a mute so they kept making fun of her. She carried their bullyings until she can't take it anymore.

She did not do anything back there and just let them bully her because she also hate herself, she was just a child and was trauma to her sudden power plus her mother's death. She did not say anything about that to her Aunt and her cousin.

At the age of fifteen, she applied for some home schooling class. She rarely go out on her room even if her Aunt and cousin was deathly worried to her, she ignored them.

A knock sounded followed by a voice. "Miss Avianna, your snacks are here. "

There was a silence after that and a sound of footsteps to go downstairs was heard.

She stood up and slowly walked towards the door and opened it. Silently picked up the tray and shut the door again.

Avianna was not that tall. She has a dark blue ocean eyes, has a sharp nose and a thick eyebrows, has a kissable lips, a small face, and a short bangs. Her white hair was lying down freely, down to her waist. Her skin was white as snow and looks so fragile. She has a skinny figure that can easily flew by a gust of a wind.

Her face showed no expression but her eyes was filled by different kind of emotions.

She blew a deep breath before she sat at the sofa and silently ate her snacks. Her emotions greatly affected her apetite so her stomach did not experience to be full.

Astria was silently eating her snacks that was delivered by a maid while watching the view outside through her windows.

She browsed Avianna's memories. Her memories that she hate the most. She read her thoughts and so on. She needs to understand Avianna's situation so she can helped her to rise again.

Her thoughts were wandering and was trying to think of a way. I need to help her accept her abilities whole-heartedly. I need to erase her fears towards her abilities. Avianna's healing abilities was no ordinary. I can't let her waste and stay feared her great abilities!

She held her chin up. Astria, think... think..... think...

She slapped her forehead when she realized something. Great, how can I help her if I still did not know a thing in this world? I need to help her communicate and stop distancing herself to everyone! But how can I do that if I am more than a stranger to this people?

She sighed. She needs to understand this World to the fullest!

Three months has passed and Astria finally achieved her goal. She finally understood everything here at the Mortal World. She understood how the things worked here. Their high technology and every things she's unfamiliar. She always got herself busy, she read many news, articles, history and etc. She also borrowed some thoughts of some people.

She also asked Tanya for some things. In just a short time, they become friends. Tanya was older than her for three years but their mature minds helped themselves to get closer to each other.

Due to a lack of places to stay, lack of financial, she still needs to stay here at Tanya's place. Mrs. Miller and Tanya accepted her immediately.

She can only helped them for some things. Specially Tanya, Tanya always told Astria about her business. And if she had a hard time taking care of her business, just by listening, Astria can gave her an efficient advice and it was always successful. Tanya can only admired her more and more.

At this morning, Tanya left early to go to work. Mrs. Miller was at the garden savoring the beautiful view. Astria was on the side drinking her coffee.

"Auntie, Tanya told me the reason why Avianna did not planned to go out to her room. "she casually stated.

Mrs. Miller flashed a sad face when she remembered Avianna. "Hmm, that child always want to keep herself in darkness. "

"She suffered greatly to her mother's death. "Astria said.

Mrs. Miller seemed to reminisced some things. She remembered her old days. Back then when she first met Avianna's mother.

"When I was just a child, just like Avianna, I am also close to my mother than my father. My father was always so busy so I can only spend my time to bond with my mother. "she paused for a while and smiled happily. "That time, I met Avianna's mother. "

Astria was patiently listening Mrs. Miller's story while drinking her coffee.

"My mother found her at the roadside. She's been covered by a big white cloth. My mother was sad when she found her condition. She's been thrown away at her baby's age. So my mother decided to adopt her and treat her like her daughter. "it was clear that Mrs. Miller was happy recalling this memories.

Astria's mind wandered. Covered by a big white cloth? Left at the roadside? What that traitor did was such a monstrous deeds!

But Astria cannot turn back the time. She can only be thankful that someone that has a kind heart picked her and raised her whole-heartedly.

Astria already expected that Avianna's mother was adopted as she was certain that Mrs. Miller did not possess a trait of an Enchant.

"I was so happy because I finally had a sibling. "Mrs. Miller chuckled.

"I was the only child of the family so her appearance gave me a great amount of joy. "

Astria was happy that Avianna's mother has a loving family in this world. It's good that she has a fortune on her side that time.

"I treated her as my younger sister and we grew together. We know each other well and cannot be separated until we had our own family. "the happy expression on Mrs. Miller's face disappeared and sadness replaced it.

"After she had a family, she died from an accident, her daughter was still a child. And now, her daughter suffered. "

Astria comforted her and an idea came to her mind. She secretly smiled.

"Auntie, let me help Avianna to move on. "

Mrs. Miller was surprised of what she said. "You're gonna help her? "

Astria revealed a confident smile. It's time to move. My plan was already set up and I just need a player to act through my prediction.

"I'm certain."

Mrs. Miller chuckled at her confidence. She did not entirely believed her but her words gave her a glimpse of hope. And she needs to hold on it no matter what happen.

"You are so full of confidence, so I can only trust you. Her birthday will be next month. She will going celebrate her 18th birthday and I hope, she's going to change for good. "she said sincerely.

Her birthday next month? What a good opportunity...

When a maid was about to deliver Avianna's lunch, Astria suddenly stopped her.

The maid was confused. "Do you need anything Miss Astria? "

Astria just smiled and took the tray. The maid was about to object when Astria tapped her shoulder.

"Let me do this and you go and rest. Okay? "

The maid was surprised but she immediately bowed in gratitude. "Thank you Miss Astria! "

Seeing the maid left, Astria was satisfied. She went to Avianna's room and knocked her door.

Avianna who was reading a book heard a knock at her door. She did not move and just waited for the maid to go away but she did not heard any footsteps.

She frowned. What was going on? Did I not odered to immediately leave after delivering her food?

Astria waited for a few seconds before she sighed, when she realized something. Avianna was really that hard to lure out, isn't it?

Avianna finally heard a footsteps going downstairs, she sighed in relief and stood up to walk towards the door. Even if she felt anything was amiss, she ignored it and casually opened her door to picked the tray.

She was about to shut the door when a person appeared in front of her. She was shocked and the tray fell immediately that created a loud noise.

Astria who gave Avianna a great shocked forced a smile. She did not thought about it, geez...

"Hi, would you mind let me enter your room? "Astria asked.

Avianna panicked and immediately held the door to shut it. She's too careless! How come she did not heard this woman's steps? She only heard it going downstairs!

Astria swifly entered the room before the door closes. Her eyes roamed around Avianna's room. There was only a sun light that comes through her window! The other parts of the room was so dark!

Astria shook her head slightly. Isn't she did not felt suffocated staying at this dark room?

"W-who are you? "Avianna stammered as she distanced herself away from Astria. Her body started to tremble but her face revealed a cold expression.

Clearly, Astria saw through her. She saw her hidden feelings.

Astria act as if she did not notice it and roamed her eyes around.

"Avianna... "

Avianna froze when she heard a familiar voice on her mind. She thought that this woman in front of her called her.

"You know my name too, who are you and how come you entered this house? "Avianna asked firmly.

Astria faced her and smiled.

"Your Aunt and cousin let me enter this house. "

Avianna subconsciously step forward. Her heart was starting to beat fast.

She opened her mouth to say something when she realized that this woman in front of her did not even opened her mouth! How come she heard her voice?!

Her eyes widened and she continued to stare at her in gape.

Astria chuckled softly. "That's right, it's me. It's my voice. "

Avianna snapped back her senses and unconsciously picked a long hard stick on her back and hit Astria with all her might!

But Astria just stared at the stick and merely use her hand to stop it from hitting her face. Aiya, her face did not deserve to be hit by this ugly stick.

Avianna swallowed a big amount of saliva when Astria stopped the stick, she used all her strength to hit her but it has no impact to her. Just who is this woman?! She's unbelievably strong!

Astria merely grasped the stick and throw it on the side.

Avianna took a step backward. Her eyes was staring at Astria with mixed emotions.

Astria sighed when she saw how scared Avianna. "Look, I am not here to harm you. Okay? "

Avianna remained silent and Astria could only continue her explanation. She went to a corner of the room and switched on the light.

The dark room earlier, was now lightened up. It's beauty has finally showed. Her room was wide and has a white and gold theme. Her things was remained untouched. It was well-arranged and nice to see.

"Now, it's not dark anymore. "Astria stated as she sat at the sofa casually. Avianna was just staring at her every move. She can't deny that seeing her room being lightened up, she was amazed. She really did ignored many things, even her room.

What was even more shocking, was that the woman has a breathtaking beauty. Her white skin glowed, she has a tall figure, a nice body-shape, her face has a flawless beauty, her kissable red-lips, her sharp nose and thin eyebrows along with her big bright dark-gray eyes and her black delicate long eyelashes. Her black long hair was tied in a ponytail.

Her face showed a normal expression but if you look at her eyes, you can see that she has a mature mind.

Avianna was stunned for a moment, while Astria also stared at her not too tall figure, fragile and skinny but has a remarkable beauty and revealed an aura of an innocent lady. Her eyes was filled with many emotions.

At this moment.... she promised that this lady would become a strong woman in the near future.
