“Perhaps the Northern Pack holds memories too heavy for her,” the Duke said quietly, his fingers tracing the rim of his teacup. “Alina mentioned wanting to transfer to the Lycan Pack for a change of scenery. I thought some distance might do her good, so I agreed. Maybe she’ll find healing here.”
