“I still can’t believe you have a date with Justin, this is exciting,” I said as I helped Char get ready for her date.
I was surprised when she told me he asked her out, only because I have known Justin a long time and he isn’t the type for dating.
“I am still convinced it is some sick joke or something,” She said, “Guys like him aren’t interested in girls like me.” She added.
“Enough! There is nothing wrong with you.” I said, “And it isn’t a joke.” I added.
“Sorry, I can’t help it,” She giggled.
I did warn Justin if he messes with her, I will mess with his face. I think he got the message loud and clear.
“Hopefully I won’t make to much of an i***t of myself,” She sighed.
