“Hello All!”
All tries to see who greeted her… But after a fall like that, trying to move any muscle was out of the question. She simply allowed the water to consume her body…Finally being able to relax for a moment.
Floating in the warm water helped relax every tense tissue, every muscle fiber, any stress, anxiety, or worry all washed away on impact.
Warm water dripped on All’s head and she looked up to see humungous steam clouds, and an enormous fiery ball that resembled the Sun… Looking down, she realized that she wasn’t falling anymore, and she had become unfamiliar with being stationary.
“Water!?” She said, blowing water away from her face. “I’m Alive!” She screamed triumphantly.
“Yes All, you made it… You’ve fallen quite a distance… I’m glad to see that you’re still in one piece!”
All was unsure of which direction the voice had come from, but whoever was talking to All had startled her…
“How do you know my name!?” She shouted, “Where are you?!”
A tall, slender, gray Alien looking creature with no mouth floated across the surface of the water towards her, stopping inches away from her it levitated on top of the water while looking down at her.
“I’m right here All… Don’t worry, I mean you no harm. I come in peace!” The Alien stared at All with its big black eyes and held up its index and middle fingers in a peace sign.
All wondered how the Alien was talking to her without a mouth and the Alien tapped the top of its head then said, while folding it’s hands behind it’s back, “I’m telepathic you see… I can read your thoughts and speak to you, without speaking.”
All thought to herself, “Can he really read my thoughts… Can I also communicate this way?”
The Alien with no mouth answered, “Absolutely!” All was certain that it was smiling even without one.
“What is this place?” She thought, “Where am I, and how can I go home?”
“You’ve fallen deep inside of the Earth…As you surface dwellers call it. This is a world, within the world… To get back home, you’ll have to travel the same path that you’ve just journeyed…” The Alien pointed up at the fireball with its long skinny pale finger and said, “Up that way!”
All looked up and remembered how long the fall was. She looked back to the Alien as if it had three heads and said, “What am I supposed to do?! Fly?!!”
“Yes.” The Alien stared up and continued, “But you will have to figure that part out…” The Alien looked back at All, giving her a sideways glance and said, “Would you like some clothes?”
All forgot that she was naked. Blushing from embarrassment, turning her cheeks noticeably red, she covered her breasts and said, “Yes please! Thank you!”
Out of the blue, a blue dress appeared in the Alien’s hands, it handed it to her and said, “Come on All, get dressed! You have quite an adventure ahead of you!”
All found it astonishing that slipping into the blue dress allowed her to walk on the water with the Alien! She spun around on top of the water, waving her dress around in circles, creating ripples in the water. “This is incredible!” She said.
Jumping on top of the water, she still remained above its depths. After the water had settled a bit, All could see her reflection staring back at her… It was a little wavy but she still could make out some of her features… Black skin, with green eyes, and a big smile… Her hair was pretty messy from the fall, but it didn’t bother her very much. As she was staring into the water, admiring herself, she grabbed onto her hard belly as it rumbled.
“You must be hungry!” The Alien said, “From what I’ve learned, you surface dwellers forgot how to perform magic generations ago… Allow me to demonstrate some of my powers!”
A white rabbit appeared in the Alien looking creatures hands.
All thought…“How cute!”
Instantly the rabbit poofed in a cloud of smoke, and re-appeared as a burger with a carrot…
All was disturbed at the magic trick, but she couldn’t resist the smell of the warm food, so she reached out and grabbed the burger and carrot, thanking the creature while taking a bite of the surprisingly delicious rabbit burger.
“What is your name?” All asked the Alien.
“I’ve never really been given a name ever… I’ve always simply been known as the watcher of the waterfalls of the inner fire.” The Alien responded.
All said, “Oh come on now, you must have a name!”
The Alien shrugged and said “Would there possibly be any name that you could suggest?”
All thought for a minute as she finished her burger and started chomping on her carrot… The food and magic trick gave her an idea, “How about Rabbit?” She said.
Rabbit approved by nodding its head in agreement and said, “If you wish Allison, Rabbit would be fine.”
“Just All please! Everyone calls me All.” All said.
“Ok All!” Rabbit telecommunicated, “I can assist you if you want to eventually get back home, but I can never leave this place, or I will die. I am the watcher of the waterfalls from the inner fire! I can and will provide you with some knowledge and instructions that you will need in order to return to your land… But you’ll have to accomplish some things down here, before you can go back up there.”
“Accomplish some things like what?” All inquired.
Rabbit said, “For starters, you’ll have to learn magic.”
She said, “You’re saying, I can learn magic as well Rabbit?”
“Yes.” Rabbit explained, “But there are dark powers at work on the surface, and you will only be capable of performing whatever you learn while out of their force field. There are very evil creatures where you come from, and their greed has resulted in them hiding the truth from humankind.”
“Can all humans cast magic?” All asked.
“Yes.” Rabbit answered, “But magic is very dangerous, and human hearts have become mostly corrupted… Evil would surely outnumber the good in this day and age. You, All… must have a good heart, or you would never have been allowed access into the Earth’s inner sanctum.”
“Did you bring me here?” All wondered.
“No…” Rabbit replied, “Only the Earth grants access to strangers. You were chosen by the planet itself.”
Mysterious how the Earth works… Living and breathing… It’s remarkable that it’s capable of thinking, and making choices. For whatever reason it chose All for was unknown to her… She looked up again in amazement, as if life wasn’t full of enough surprises! She stood there gazing at the massive fireball, and watched the steam clouds float away across the vast horizon… Opening into rain clouds all around for miles.
“It’s beautiful here.” She said, “Have you explored much of this world Rabbit?”
“Only with my mind All… I can never leave this place or I will die! This place gives me life… I’ve been here for many generations, as long as I can remember…” Rabbit stretched his hands, and in them appeared a map and a compass. “Do you, All… know how to use these?”
“Yes Rabbit, I’ve used them in video games!” All smiled and accepted Rabbit’s gifts.
“Excellent.” Rabbit folded his hands behind his back again. “Use them wisely… I will prepare some directions for you, and I will retrieve your book bag for you as well… I know it was your favorite.”
A tent appeared out of thin air and floated on the water beside Rabbit and All.
“Get some rest.” Rabbit said, placing a hand on All’s shoulder, “Everything will be ready for when you wake up.” Rabbit winked at All before floating away, leaving her standing by herself on the water with the tent.
All looked in the tent and it looked cozy. Stepping inside of it she found a sleeping bag and a pillow, they smelt clean and felt soft. Zippering up the tent, she made her bed then tucked herself in, falling asleep while listening to the waves silently crashing into the side of her tent.
