As I walked in through the gates and down the short distance that led to the elevator all I got from the servants and maids were stares that weren’t subtly enough. I could hear their whispers as I walked past them. I didn’t need to try to listen to what they say saying, I already knew what it was about. They were either wondering why I decided to come back here or how I looked perfectly fine, standing with both feet like I hadn’t been on the verge of death just days ago ‘cause I was pretty sure they all knew about what happened to me.
