I suddenly stopped at the middle of the way. We weren’t thinking straight. We were being too irrational. I’d been thinking about what we were doing, where we were going and it didn’t seem to make any sense to me. We could be putting ourselves in a lot of danger thinking we were doing the right thing. Dylan noticed I had stopped. He turned back and stretched his arms wide open. I had to strain my eyes to see him because it was so dark that night.
