It was already dark by the time I got home. I approached the grey castle and noticed a few vehicles in front of the huge gates, ones that didn’t belong to my fathers. People were standing outside and I could see my father amongst them. I was quite surprised to see him out of his chambers just so he could what……chit chat?. I was still a bit far away so I couldn’t see them clearly.
I got closer and on my father’s face was something I had never seen before. If I hadn’t seen it with my own two eyes and was told by someone else I would have never believed it.
My father was smiling.
It wasn’t a full on grin but atleast his lips weren’t set in a straight line or curved downwards. He was smiling at this creature in front of him. I couldn’t say what he was but I could notice his exotic features
