When I open my eyes, I saw myself standing in an unfamiliar place and everything around was covered with thick mist and I couldn't see where I was. I cried maniacally, then took a deep breath and touched my chest – expecting a heart to be thumping quickly, impatiently, but there was nothing there, not even a beat.
